If you reside within our school catchment, please email enrolments@woongoolbass.eq.edu.au asking for an enrolment pack. Please also include proof of address to confirm residential address. Our friendly administration staff will support you in completing all relevant application forms and arrange for you to meet with the Principal for a tour of the school.

Out Of Catchment Enrolment Applications
We are delighted that you are considering Woongoolba State School for your child's education. To comply with our Enrolment Management Plan, we have some additional processes to support the processing of out-of-catchment enrolment applications.
Students who reside outside of our catchment are not guaranteed enrolment at Woongoolba State School and are required to submit an out of catchment enrolment application.
Please complete out-of-catchment-expression-of-interest.pdf and email to enrolments@woongoolbass.eq.edu.au along with a copy of your child's latest report card, a letter stating reasons for proposed enrolment and a copy of rates, lease notice or electricity or gas bill to confirm residency.
To support our out of catchment process, we currently have a waitlist for all grades. Your child's enrolment may be accepted, however may need to be placed on our wait list to ensure our class sizes do not exceed the maximum class size targets of 25 in Prep – Year 3 and 28 in Year 4 – 6. Our school office will review wait lists regularly and contact families when we have availability for students who are on our wait list.

1. Email Out of Catchment Expression of Interest form to enrolments@woongoolbass.eq.edu.au
2. Attend an Enrolment Interview
3. Out come of application communicated with you via email
Prep Enrolments for the Following Year
We accept Prep Enrolments from the beginning of Term 2 for the following school year. Please follow the processes above to enrol your child into Prep for the following school year.
During Term 4, the Front Office will contact all incoming Prep Families to discuss transition arrangements. Specific Transition and orientation days will be advertised on our Facebook Page.
